Theatre 33 Presents a Reading of “Antarktikos” This Sunday in #SalemOR

This summer Willamette University Theatre is hosting Theatre 33’s “3 x 33 Play Reading Series“, with the generous support of Playwrights West. There was a great turn out in June for the first reading, Dear Galileo by Claire Willett, directed by Susan Coromel, which featured three current WU students (Erika Lebby, Kilee Rheinsburg, and Carly Christensen), alumnus Ryan Carty, and community and professional actors Michael Griggs, Tom Nabhan, and Michael Swanson, with stage direction read by Aubrey Harris.

The next reading is this Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 2 pm in the Putnam Studio of the M. Lee Pelton Theatre on the Willamette University campus. The play, Antarktikos, by award-winning playwright Andrea Stolowitz will feature Willamette University Theatre senior, Erika Lebby, theatre department faculty Susan Coromel and Chris Harris, and a debut appearance from Chris Forrer, a Linfield graduate and current directing intern at Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts in California. WU Theatre junior Carly Christensen will read stage directions, and the stage manager is Evan West from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. The reading is directed by Willamette University Theatre alumna Raissa Fleming.
