Langdon Cook, award-winning author of The Mushroom Hunters and Fat of the Land, presents a patch-to-plate slideshow of wild mushrooms and their many culinary splendors. Learn how to hunt for morels, porcini, chanterelles, matsutake, and a host of other species of fungi—and how to cook up your catch in a delicious meal. This seasonal look at our local bounty, with plenty of food photos of finished dishes, will leave you hungry for the woods. Q&A to follow, and Cook will have copies of his books for sale and signing.
