Reminder: WHC History Pub Lecture Series with Gerry Frank in #SalemOR

Willamette Heritage Center presents…

THURSDAY, JULY 23 | 5:30-6:30 PM

“Eating Salem: An Eyewitness View of Salem’s Rich and Diverse Restaurant History”

Gerry Frank, fourth-generation native Oregonian with deep roots in the retail, restaurant, political,

civic and business of the state, will provide an insider’s view of Salem’s restaurant history, from

Meier and Frank’s Oregon Room to the Konditerei. This presentation will take place in the Spinning Room.

The Willamette Heritage Center is located at 1313 Mill Street SE, Salem, Oregon.

Cover charge is $3 for WHC members and $5 for non-members. Beer, non-alcoholic beverages and

food will be available for purchase. (Beer for those 21 and older.) Come raise a pint with us and celebrate

the rich history of dining out in Salem!

The Willamette Heritage Center’s 2015 History Pub series coincides with the exhibition

Eating Salem: An Exhibit of Restaurant History, which will be on view in the Mill Building at the

Willamette Heritage Center through August 22.
