February 24, 2016 at 7:00 pm

The Tramp marked the beginning of “The Tramp” character most known today, even though Chaplin played the character in earlier films. This film marked the first departure from his more slapstick character in the earlier films, with a sad ending and showing he cared for others, rather than just himself..

Cops is a 1922 comedy about a young man (Buster Keaton) who accidentally gets on the bad side of the entire Los Angeles Police Department during a parade, and is chased all over town.

The Bank is a departure from the tramp character, as Chaplin plays a janitor at a bank who has a crush on a secretary and dreams that she has fallen in love with him.  69 minutes.
