Enjoy Exclusive Summer Sunsets at The #Oregon #Garden

SILVERTON, Ore. – The Oregon Garden has announced the return of its popular Sunsets in the Garden presented by Columbia Bank, an after-hours event that takes place on Wednesday evenings from August 3 to September 7. Sunsets in the Garden features complimentary tastings from local wineries and breweries, live music, tram tours, yoga, and the exclusive opportunity to watch the setting sun from beautiful vantage points in the Garden at a time normally closed to the public.

Sunsets in the Garden is an extension of Garden hours, and general admission applies: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+), $9 for students (11-17), $6 for kids (5-11), free for children (4 & under), and free for Oregon Garden Members. Well-behaved pets on a leash are also welcome. Tastings from the featured winery or brewery are included with adult admission; additional food and beverages may be purchased. The event is cash only; the nearest ATM is located in the Oregon Garden Resort.

August 3, 7-9pm: Music by Gabriel Cox and beer tasting by Elysian Brewing

August 10, 7-9pm: Music by WJ McEachern and beer tasting by Silver Falls Brewery

August 17, 7-9pm: Music by Andrew Morgan and wine tasting by Left Coast Cellars

August 24, 6:30-8:30pm: Music by Val Blaha and sparkling mead tasting by Stung Fermented

August 31, 6:30-8:30pm: Music by Emilio Shivers and beer tasting by Ecliptic Brewing

September 7, 6:30-8:30pm: Music by Mike Prigodich and wine tasting by Four Graces Winery

New this year, the event will offer yoga sessions at each Sunset event, which will begin one hour before the music and tastings take place: 6pm on August 3, August 10 and August 17; and 5:30pm on August 24, August 31 and September 7. Attendees are welcome to bring their own yoga mat or rent one for $5.

After the sun sets, guests can stay the night at the Oregon Garden Resort, where the Sunsets in the Garden package starts at $134, and includes accommodations, Sunsets in the Garden admission for two, food voucher to be used at a Sunsets in the Garden, buffet breakfast for two and admission to The Oregon Garden.
