Jimmy Jones, Ph.D., the Arches Project of the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency. Dr. Jones has conducted in-depth interviews with members of over 1000 households living in Salem without housing. His work provides a clear picture of Salem’s homeless people, their needs, and the differences and similarities of groups among the homeless.

Ron Hays, Director of the Community Resource Trust. Mr. Hays is the lead on the development of 180 low income homes in north Salem and has traveled to other cities to research what community responses are most effective. He will tell us about the Salem project and options he’s seen in other communities.
