Exploring Oregon’s Heritage — Asian and Pacific Islander Day at the Capitol celebrates the rich impact of the many diverse cultures of this large geographic areas peoples to our state.

Come celebrate the day with exhibits, performances, booths, music and more!


10:00 AM: Monmouth Taiko
10:30 AM: CABA Lion Dance Performance, Front Steps
11:00 AM: Kalabharathi School of Dance, Rotunda
11:30 AM: Anjali School of Dance, Rotunda
Noon : Island Arts Performance, Front Steps
12:30 PM: All Level Yoga Class – Participation is Encouraged, Walk of Flags; Paradise of Samoa Band, Rotunda
12:50 PM: Chinese Friendship Association of Portland Fitness Dance Team
1:15 PM: Oregon Marshallese Community Performance, Front Steps
1:40 PM: Paradise of Samoa Dance Performance, Front Steps

*Tickets are needed for the Tower Tours at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Please go to Information Kiosk for tickets. Tours are capacity controlled and are weather permitting.
