Pete and Toshi Seeger celebrated in Lincoln Center concert at #SalemOR Public Library – June 24th

Lincoln Center On Screen:
A Memorial Concert for
Pete and Toshi Seeger
2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24
Loucks Auditorium

Pete and Toshi Seeger’s legacies run deep, from transforming the way we listen to the music of our American roots to demanding social justice and successfully advocating for grassroots environmental change. Filmed in 2014, and organized by their grandson Kitama Cahill-Jackson, this screening includes an all-star line-up of family and friends who gather to remember these leaders in folk music and activism. Performers include Peter Yarrow, Holly Near, the Chapin Sisters, and more.

Lincoln Center On Screen partners with libraries, schools and community service organizations to bring free screenings of world-class performances to neighborhoods across the country in efforts to broaden access to the arts for those who experience barriers to arts participation. Major support for Lincoln Center On Screen is provided by the Oak Foundation. This program is free and open to the public.
